September 30, 2019, at Vietnam Electricity Head office, located at 11 Cua Bac Street - Truc Bach Ward - Ba Dinh District – Hanoi City, Tra Vinh Wind Power No. 1 Joint Stock Company (TWPC) and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) have agreed to sign Power Purchase Agreement to buy and sell electricity produced from the Korean-Tra Vinh Wind Power Plant (Phase 1) Tra Vinh province, with a total installed capacity of 48MW, which is invested, built, owned and operated by TWPC in Truong Long Hoa and Dan Thanh communes, Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province. Accordingly, the two sides have reached agreements and commitments in the purchase and supply of electricity to the national electricity grid, contributing to stabilizing the electricity supply in the context of electricity shortage in production and use of Vietnam, reducing electricity imports from abroad.

TWPC Company ensures the requirements according to the legal and technical framework specified in the wind power production industry in particular and the renewable energy industry in general, with the expectation of commencing operation in early 2021.
